Click > Scan QR Code to save it to your 1Password item. As part of the beta test, the latest 1Password app includes a new feature called Watchtower, which monitors your existing accounts and notifies you when a service has picked up passkey support. When you see a QR code for 1Password to scan, click in your browser’s toolbar and select your login for the site to view the item’s details. The company has a portal that lists all the websites and apps that support passkey login. 1Password will automatically log you in the next time you visit that website. It runs on my Linux machine just as smoothly as it does my Mac. If you already have an account with that website, go to the account settings menu and enable the passkey login option. The company says that support will start with beta extensions for Safari on macOS, as well as Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Brave on macOS, Windows and Linux. 1Password X is a full-featured version of 1Password that runs entirely within a browser.
